CJ CheilJedang spread the taste and value of K-Food at PGA Tour once again this year with its brand ‘Bibigo.’
CJ CheilJedang announced on the 3rd that it managed the ‘Bibigo Booth’ at the WMPO (Waste Management Phoenix Open) PGA Tour held in Phoenix, Arizona of the United States for 5 days from January 29 to February 2 (local time).
At the ‘Bibigo Booth,’ the company presented Bibigo’s signature products, such as Bibigo Mini Wontons and Mandu, which are currently quite the sensation in the US. All of the food prepared for 10,000 persons ran out, receiving fervent responses from the gallery.
“This tastes really good and yet seems healthy, stuffed with meat and vegetables,” said Sarah Speltz (age 27) from Texas who tasted Bibigo Mandu. “Thanks to Bibigo Mandu, I’ll remember this PGA Tour for a long time.” She then went on to ask about the product, where to buy it in the US, and the recipe, saying that she wants to recommend the product to her parents in Texas.
“We’re proud to be serving mandu, one of Korea’s signature dishes, to the local gallery and provide the healthy taste of Korean food,” said Park Eun-Seon, in charge of food brand marketing at CJ CheilJedang. “We’re going to keep focusing on promoting the excellence of Korean food and the value of ‘Bibigo.’”
CJ CheilJedang advertised ‘Bibigo’ last year by participating in a total 7 major PGA tours including The CJ Cup, Genesis Open, and AT&T Byron Nelson. The company will continue enhancing the status of ‘Bibigo’ this year by actively participating in large-scale PGA tours, such as The Genesis Invitational and TPC.
