TUNE UP helps young, up-and-coming indie musicians access the music industry ecosystem and the global market by supporting their activities ranging from music and live video production to recording, concerts, and marketing. The program is credited with contributing to the diversity of the Korean music industry.

STORY UP

Support program for short film directors

STORY UP helps up-and-coming directors create films and expand into the global market by providing financial support, post-production support, expert mentoring, and assistance with submission to various film festivals in and outside Korea. The program also organizes short film screening events, STORY UP SHORTS, to introduce talented creators and their films to the public, thereby driving the growth of Korea’s film industry.

Korea’s only support program for contemporary music students studying overseas

CJ Music Scholarship helps Korean students at Berklee College of Music and at prestigious music graduate schools foster and showcase their talent on global stages. The program helps students grow and communicate with society by providing scholarships and opportunities to perform on stages, create albums, and teach as TUNE UP Music Class instructors.

An online platform for creator–audience communication

CJ AZIT is where imagination becomes reality for musicians and where one can immerse oneself in the joy of cultural diversity. The two offline platforms operated are CJ AZIT Gwnagheungchang, a space optimized for music creation and concerts, and CJ AZIT Daehakro, a venue specializing in musicals and theater productions.

CJ Cultural Foundation has been discovering and nurturing young and talented film directors in China by hosting the Korea–China Short Film Festival since 2014. The foundation is devoted to helping Asia establish itself as the heart of the global cultural market by laying the groundwork for creation in both Korea’s and China’s filmmaking industries.
