CJ starts food service at Hong Kong International Airport


Hong Kong International Airport, taking the first place in evaluation of airport facility and services for 3 consecutive years, will have another addition, Korean Restaurants, sooner or later.

CJ announced that they entered into a contract with Hong Kong International Airport to open 3 Korean restaurants (about 10800ft² of space) on the 5th floor of “Sky Plaza,” the second Airport terminal, in order to start food service.

It also announced that the food service business in Hong Kong International Airport (Chek Lap Kok Airport) will be mainly operated by CJ Food Systems, the number one concession business (a business that operates public facilities and services such as airport, railway station and cultural facilities) in Korea and one of the CJ Group’s affiliates, and will open another restaurants in Pudong Airport in China and Narita Airport in Japan within this year.
