CJ Logistics has marked the first anniversary of its e-Fulfillment service. Since the service’s release, orders have increased and consumer complaints have decreased, receiving good responses from clients.

CJ Logistics announced on the 19th that its ‘CJ Logistics e-Fulfillment’ service has marked its first anniversary. Since its release in April 2020, currently the service is provided to 12 brands, such as LG Household & Health Care, Aekyung, LION KOREA, etc. In addition, 20 other brands have also decided to join and are currently discussing the schedule.
The service scope, which had been focused on household supplies at first like LG Household & Health Care, Aekyung, and Living Crafts, has now been expanded to foods, health functional foods, apparel, and supplies for companion animals from groups such as Nestlé Korea, Daesang Life Science, etc. In addition to NAVER Smart Store companies, brands with their own specialty stores like Pet Friends and ZigZag have also joined as clients.

Released by CJ Logistics in April 2020, ‘CJ Logistics e-Fulfillment’ is a logistics service that is specialized in e-commerce combining a hub terminal and e-Fulfillment center. When consumers order products from an online shopping mall, the products are transported directly from CJ Logistics’ Gonjiam Fulfillment Center to the hub terminal, and then sent to destinations all over Korea after being sorted by the advanced automatic cargo sorter.
In the past, orders had to be placed by 3 p.m. the day before in order to receive the products the day after having placed the order. However, CJ Logistics e-Fulfillment now allows consumers to place the order at midnight and still receive the products the next day. The stable delivery based on CJ Logistics’ biggest national infrastructure is also an advantage.
For 77% of the clients using the service, orders have increased by 25% and consumer complaints have decreased
The companies using the service are clearly benefiting from the stable delivery and longer time available for orders. According to a survey conducted by CJ Logistics on its clients, 77% of the clients have enjoyed at least a 25% increase in sales volume after using the service, and some even a 100% increase. This increase is due to consumer satisfaction with the high next-day delivery rate and maximized order collection as orders are closed by midnight.
78% of the clients also responded that consumer complaints have decreased. Having heard this ‘news’, other companies are now seeking advice from these service users.
