Santa Cake Baking Class
- Tous Les Jours held a “Happiness Sharing Day” and invited children to join a Christmas cake baking event in line with the business characteristics of the brand
- To mark the end of the year, CJ Foodville's employee volunteers held five installments of a cake baking experience event with a total of 115 children participating.
CJ Foodville, headed by CEO Seong-pil Jeong, held a Christmas cake baking class, attended by children invited from local children’s centers.
On the 11th, CJ Foodville held a “Tous Les Jours Happiness Sharing Day” at CJ Foodville Academy located in Gansan-dong, Seoul, with the attendance of 16 children invited from the local children’s centers in Guro-gu, Seoul. The employee volunteers, made up of professional pâtissiers, etc., teamed up with the children to bake Santa cake, Tous Les Jours’ Christmas cake for 2019 designed with the motif of “Let's Enjoy a Party-like Christmas with Santa.” At the event, the children put soft whipped cream on strawberry-topped cake sheets and decorated them in their own unique ways. They also made cards for the intended recipients of their cakes and presented their proud baked creations to others.
In related news, on the afternoon of the 13th, CJ Foodville employee volunteers will be visiting four CJ Donors Camp-sponsored local children's centers to hold a “Christmas Cake Baking” event. With a total of 100 children Christmas expected to participate, the event will see the participants learn to bake sweet potato cake, a popular product during the Christmas season.
A CJ Foodville official said, "With Christmas just around the corner, we planned this event with the aim of communicating with underprivileged children through the donation of our employees’ talents. The event was very meaningful in that we could create heart-warming memories while watching the children rejoice. We also plan to further expand our earnest sharing activities in the future.”
