CJ O Shopping launches premium fashion brands for 2016 F/W
Welcoming the 2016 F/W season, CJ O Shopping (CEO Heo Min-Heoi) is exclusively launching premium fashion brands as part of its strategy for differentiating itself in the home shopping fashion market.

For this year's F/W season, CJ O Shopping signed a licensing contract with Andrew Marc, which had to be purchased only through overseas direct purchasing, for the first time in Korea, and is also launching Jean-Michel Basquiat, a golf fashion brand in collaboration with the world's renowned artist Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Furthermore, the company is also exclusively presenting many other premium brands, including Christian Lacroix by Christian Lacroix, a French royal designer, which is mostly sold at famous overseas select shops and luxury stores in department stores.
Exclusively presenting approximately 10 premium brands, CJ O Shopping will see the share of premium brand sales in all its fashion categories increase by 8% to 22%.
By doing so, the company intends to lead the home shopping fashion market through diversity and differentiation of home shopping fashion products and also to meet consumer needs by widening a range of choices.
First of all, VW Vera Wang, an iconic New York lifestyle brand, which has been selling well in Korea over the last 15 years under the first exclusive licensing contract in Korea with CJ O Shopping, made a successful start of the season on its launching show that aired on Sept. 6th by posting sales of 3.1 billion won.
Under the concept "Stylish Dress Up" for this season, VW Vera Wang has completed its unique elegant and refined design.
The brand's products also feature premium materials including premium leather by Only Frank, a famous Italian leather maker, lambskin leather by Vignola, raccoon fur and premium cashmere fabric.
CJ O Shopping is also presenting Andrew Marc, a 30-year old brand representing New York's high-end casual look, which sells at many department stores around the world, including the US, Canada and Europe.
Andrew Marc is a famous American brand that had to be purchased only through direct overseas purchasing in Asia, including Korea, but with the exclusive licensing contract with CJ O Shopping, now Korean consumers can buy products of the brand without having to go through complex procedures.
To be launched at 22:40 on Sept. 21st, Andrew Marc will present a total of five products including men's and women's leather jackets, down jackets and men's suit sets.
CJ O Shopping will also launch 'Christian Lacroix', a brand in collaboration with Christian Lacroix - alchemist of fashion, a representative French designer who is a French royal designer and two-time winner of the Golden Thimble.
Through CJ O Shopping, Christian Lacroix will present a variety of products ranging from shoes to women's wear, men's wear and underwear, and will launch its women's knit ensemble sets and knit dress for the first time on Yoonanhee Show to be aired on Sept. 20th at 9:25 am.
Preparing for its launching with fashion accessories, Trussardi is a 100-year-old Italian fashion brand that runs over 2,000 stores around the world including Europe, Asia and the United States.
The launching of new leisure sports brands is also attracting attention. Jean-Michel Basquiat, a golf brand by Jean-Michel Basquiat, a.k.a. the Black Picasso, who was one of the most influential artists in the 20th century, is also busy preparing to engage consumers in October.
First in the home shopping market, the launching of Adidas Golf is also at hand.
In addition to them, many other premium brands will make a debut to consumers through CJ O Shopping, including "Velardi touch", which is one of the top sellers in many famous department stores in Korea, "Evercube", a Japanese premium women's wear brand, "Chalayan" by Hussein Chalayan that is being sold in over 100 luxury stores throughout the world, and Eudon Choi by Choi Eudon, a promising designer who will lead the fashion trend in London.
