Customers will have the opportunity to indulge in various tastes of traditional Korean pepper paste early next year.

Taste classification will be headed by Dr. Gu Gyeong Hyeong at the traditional food department of KFRICON. Dr. Gu’s team will analyze divergent tastes, develop classification standards, conduct customer sensory tests and establish standard taste indexes. The team is planning to classify the taste of Korean pepper paste into five levels – mild, slightly hot, moderate, very hot and extremely hot.
