CJ HomeShopping steps forward to help children in Africa.

CJ HomeShopping, which has been regularly broadcasting shows to help out needy children in Korea more than once a month, is gathering attention in the industry as it is due to broadcast a show to help children in Africa.

This show was shot in South Africa where Emergency Rescue Team of World Vision, an international relief and development organization, is working and will vividly depict the lives of African children suffering from famine and diseases.

For this, Social Contribution Broadcasting Team of CJ HomeShopping visited inland regions of South Africa for approximately 1 week from November 11 and filmed the heart-rending stories of Children in Africa.

The show will introduce a 65-year old grandmother looking after 5 children with only $1~2 of living expenses per day and a 100-day old baby who cannot afford to receive treatment after being diagnosed with HIV.

The fund raised through this show will be delivered to Emergency Rescue Team of World Vision and be used to solve the issues of famine and diseases suffered by children in South Africa.
