According to the Korea Management Association Consulting’s ‘2007 Korean Industry Brand Power (K-BPI) Research,’ the multiplex CGV was nominated 1st place for 5 consecutive years. According to the results, CGV has achieved 1st place in brand recognition, brand loyalty, and overall scores, confirming CGV as the foremost movie theatre of Korea.
The ‘Korean Industry Brand Power (K-BPI)’ is a research on the major Korean industries based on indexing consumer preferences in brand recognition, brand loyalty, and brand influences. As indicated by the preferences of 12,000 consumers, CGV was nominated first place in each section, among 2,192 Korean brands.
Ever since ‘the movie theatre’ section was added in the year 2003, CGV has maintained its place at the top in the K-BPI research. Moreover, unlike other brands, CGV is increasing its gaps with other brands every year. With this annual escalation of annual brand index, CGV is strengthening its stand among consumers.
