CJ Freshway, CJ Group’s subsidiary specializing in food ingredient distribution and food service (CEO Moon Jong-seok), provided relief supplies to 11 hospitals dedicated to COVID-19 patients located in the metropolitan area, including the National Medical Center, Yonsei University Severance Hospital, and Hanyang University Guri Hospital.

On the 25th, CJ Freshway delivered 3,000 sets of self-produced relief kits worth KRW 20 million to major hospitals to encourage healthcare workers struggling to cure COVID-19 patients.

The kits were made by CJ Freshway’s employees and are traditional lucky bags containing a health supplement beverage, an energy bar, and seven other health-boosting snacks that can be easily eaten anytime, anywhere.

A CJ Freshway staff member said, “We tried to cheer on healthcare workers on the frontlines of the battle against COVID-19 through these kits that are a small token of our appreciation. We will continue to think of diverse ways to fulfill our corporate social responsibility to help put an end to this crisis.”
