From April, Thai viewers will be able to watch local remakes of CJ E&M's hit shows on a terrestrial TV channel, five days a week.
The total contents provider CJ E&M announced that True4U, a Thai terrestrial entertainment channel, will air remakes of drama [Oh My Ghostess]

Aired on Workpoint TV, a popular Thai production and terrestrial channel, on Wednesdays, [I Can See Your Voice Thailand] has attained an average rating of 4% and the highest rating of 5.57% and has already aired its 100th episode. Currently, the show's second season is being aired and receiving great popularity, ranking in the top 3 on the ratings board.

"Thai people have a high preference for Hallyu (Korean Wave) contents and Thailand is causing a huge cultural and economic influence on its neighboring countries such as Myanmar and Cambodia. That's why it is looked upon as being a Southeast Asian base for Hallyu," remarked Jang-ho Seo, CJ E&M's Global Contents Director. "Entry of many remakes of CJ E&M's hit shows through Thai terrestrial channels is expected to elevate the profile of Korean contents in Asia."
Thailand is the fastest growing contents market in Southeast Asia. According to the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), Thailand's broadcast market is forecast to post CAGR of 6.1% and annual sales of $4.026 billion by 2020. As the number of Korean broadcast formats exported to Thailand has soared from one in 2015 to nine in 2017, Thailand topped the list with 25%, outpacing China.
