2016 2H Recruitment of new employees for CJ Group

Applications will be received via its CJ Group Recruitment website (recruit.cj.net) or its mobile website from September 7 to 26. Recruitment requirements include possessing a bachelor's degree or above, including those due to graduate in February 2017.

During the period, the company will also recruit prospective graduates due to graduate in August. 2017 for winter season internship.

Applicants for the college graduate recruitment must select one out of over 150 jobs at the 12 affiliates including CJ CheilJedang and CJ E&M. If they pass the document screening, the results of which will be announced in early October, they will go through a test, working-level interview and executive interview.

From this recruitment, applicants will also take a job propensity survey during the secondary executive interview. "The results of the survey will be used to judge which team is good for the applicant but will not influence the acceptance or rejection of the applicant," said a source from CJ Group HR team.

CJ Group has not required language test results in its document screening since the recruitment for the second half of last year. However, the company conducts global talent recruitment separately, which requires global competencies including language proficiency.

CJ's unique custom recruitment fair - 'Produce Your Career'

CJ will also hold 'Produce Your Career', a custom recruitment fair for applicants at CJ HumanVille on September 9.

For 300 selected prospective applicants, the fair will present detailed employment information sessions, such as "Explore CJ Affiliates", "Experience Work at CJ" and "Story of A New Recruit" as well as an individual mentoring opportunity with HR staff.

In particular, when you apply for the fair, you can vote for the contents you want to listen to.

From 5:30 pm on the day, the "Visible Recruiting Radio Show CJ On-Air" by HR staff will provide practical information on the application and recruiting process.

The show will be aired live on CJ Group Recruiting’s Facebook Fanpage (www.facebook.com/cjrecruiting), and anyone who is interested in the CJ recruitment can join it.

The show is expected to provide the right information that applicants want to know through real-time Q&A discussion.

"The number of jobs for recruitment has increased by around 40% from a year earlier and we have also introduced a job propensity survey," said CJ Group. "As we have applicants' documents reviewed by working-level personnel instead of HR personnel, job propensity is more important than specs in the screening."

CJ Group plans to recruit a total of 1,700 college graduates for its regular employment in the second half of this year through regular college graduate recruitment and affiliate-specific recruitment.
