CJ O’liveNetworks and TmaxSoft sign agreement for boosting domestic software business

CJ O’liveNetworks (CEOs Lee Kyung-Bae, Hur Min-Ho) announced on Monday, August 22 that it came to an agreement with TmaxSoft (CEO Jang In-Soo) for boosting domestic software business in the Conference Room on the 5th level of the main office building of CJ O’liveNetworks in Bundang, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.

Under the agreement, CJ O’liveNetworks will join hands with TmaxSoft to develop appliance products integrating hardware and software. The company's plan is to release appliance products combining high-spec, low-cost standard IT equipment supplied from Huawei and ZetaData, a DBMS solution developed by TmaxSoft to target the domestic and foreign markets through technical performance and cost competitiveness.

It will cooperate with TmaxSoft for developing new IT technologies and diversifying relevant business based on excellent domestic software by actively utilizing the technologies and solutions of TmaxSoft in its software, cloud service and big data business.

The signing ceremony was held in the presence of ten key officials, including CEO Lee Kyung-Bae, Quality Innovation Director Park Jae-Gwang and Business Support Director Kim Chung-Soo, from CJ O’liveNetworks, and CEO Jang In-Soo and Enterprise Business Director Lee Ho-Jin, from TmaxSoft.

Meanwhile, in May, CJ O’liveNetworks signed an MOU with Huawei Korea for business diversification and agreed to sign a Value Added Partner (VAP) agreement of the highest level for the supply, maintenance and added value creation of x86 servers, storage and communications equipment serviced by Huawei.
