▲ CJ CheilJedang’s emergency relief supplies are piled up before being delivered to flood victims. CJ CheilJedang provided needed food products to areas hit hard by torrential rain.
On the 5th, CJ CheilJedang delivered 12,000 food products (HMRs including Hetbahn and Hetbahn Cupbahn; side dishes such as Bibigo Kimchi, Bibigo Dried Seaweed Sheets, and SPAM; and snacks such as Matbam Chestnuts) to Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association for flood victims experiencing difficulties in their everyday lives due to the ongoing flooding and volunteers participating in the relief work.
A CJ CheilJedang staff member said, “We decided to offer emergency relief for the residents of flood-stricken areas who are in dire need of help. We are also thinking of providing additional support to accelerate the restoration work.”
CJ Group has engaged in relief activities in a systematic manner based on the public-private disaster relief network established in association with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety in 2015, and CJ CheilJedang has continued to offer emergency relief supplies including food products in response to disasters.
