Truth or myth about Hetbahn
Hello, I’m Hetbahn.
There are a lot of misunderstandings about me.
I contain absolutely no preservatives*.
*Additives used as preservatives for processed foods include ε-polylysine and grapefruit seed extract. Hetbahn uses absolutely no food preservatives.
I’m cooked exactly like homemade steamed rice.
Rice
and water
heated.
Let me explain in detail.

(Hetbahn – even better than freshly cooked rice)
I’m made in a completely uncontaminated clean room
with no possibility for me to go bad.
Rice put in a squeaky clean container
is sterilized with high-temperature high-pressure steam.

Purified water is added
and heated to make delicious Hetbahn!
How simple is that!

(Hetbahn – even better than freshly cooked rice)
I’ll explain it again a little more simply.
Listen carefully.
Remember the rice is sterilized?
So, there is no need for food preservatives*!

Quadruple barrier film / Triple barrier container
The perfectly designed film and container completely seal off outside air
so that Hetbahn safely reaches consumers
without the need for refrigeration or preservatives!

Hetbahn,
I’m a little concerned because you come in a plastic container.
Nonsense!
Some worry about my plastic container.
I’m perfectly safe.
Let me explain!

Did you know that some plastic materials are unaffected by heat?
Polypropylene (PP), polyphenylsulfone (PPSU), and polyethersulfone (PES)
These materials remain harmless
even when heated.
They’re used for baby bottles, thermos bottles, and medical instruments that require heat sterilization.
The Hetbahn container is made with PP often used for baby bottles.
Then, it must be unaffected by heat.
That’s right!
Baby bottles remain harmless
even when sterilized in boiling water.
The same material is used for Hetbahn,
so no need to worry!
Oh, and the plastic film attached to the container is also made with PP, so rest assured that I’m safe.
See how safe Hetbahn is?
Sorry I misunderstood you.
(Hetbahn – even better than freshly cooked rice)
